Overview

The purpose of the board is to provide recommendations to City Council regarding the Royse City Main Street Program. The board is responsible for establishing the mission and vision of the program and recommending the goals, measures, and targets of the program. The board shall also follow the four emphasized Texas Main Street Program points: organization, promotion, design, and economic restructuring. Board members represent the community, including downtown businesses and property owners, and citizens with a general interest in downtown revitalization. The Main Street Advisory Board encourages and facilitates the Royse City Main Street Program and its goals recommend the establishment of subcommittees for any subject relating to the program for which there is no standing committee, assists in the development of annual reports on the progress of the program and advises and supports the Main Street Program Manager.

Meets the 1st Wednesday each month at 10:00 AM at 305 N. Arch Street City Hall, Conference Room.
